General Secretary/ Executive Director – Marcia Lawrence-Russel

Marcia has 25 years senior leadership experience associated with working within the Trade Union movement. She has experience in organisational management, industrial relations, and representation. She is a specialist advocate and possesses expert employment legislation, advocacy, campaigning and lobbying knowledge and skills.

Marcia was previously a qualified Probation Officer and training manager for a Local Authority. She holds a business management degree and is also an independent trainer and HR specialist . During her spare time, Marcia enjoys reading and spending quality time with her children.
